1. How do I book?

2. What services do I book in for?
SJL recommends combining a number of our services for the best results and longevity of your hair. We offer a complimentary consultation in salon or you can email us at info@salonjaimmelee.com if you are unsure what to book.
3. Is there a wait time to book an appointment?
We recommend rebooking with every appointment to avoid wait times. Otherwise, we advise booking a month in advance to secure your preferred stylist. We sometimes have last-minute cancellations so keep checking our Instagram for availabilities. Alternatively, feel free to call or email us to see if we can fit you in.
4. What if I’m unhappy with my hair?
We do not offer a “change of mind” redo service. However, we want to ensure all our clients are 100% satisfied with the end results. To facilitate this we offer a seven-day adjustment policy. If you have any concerns with your service please contact us within seven days from your original appointment to resolve any issues free of charge. Adjustments are only provided by the original hairstylist.
5. What if I need to change or cancel my appointment? Do you have a cancellation policy?
All appointment deposits are non-refundable.
If cancelled within 48 hours, your deposit will be forfeited.
If cancelled more than 48 hours before your appointment deposit will be placed on your account as a credit.
No-shows will be charged a 100% appointment fee. If a deposit has already been paid, the remaining service amount will be charged to the card used during the time of booking. In the event that SJL does not have the client's card details, a payment link will be sent and all future bookings will be withheld until the outstanding balance is made.
Please note: we’re a sustainable salon. Your appointment includes a small green service fee of $3, to support our ongoing commitment to sustainability.
All deposits are non-refundable.

6. How long does an appointment usually take?
Timing is fully dependent on the service you book in for and the type of hair you have. Colour appointments can take up to 4-5 hours. If you need to be out by a certain time please advise us before your appointment begins, some services cannot be any quicker than the time we allocate.
7. What products should I be using for my hair?
We recommend salon professional products to protect and nourish your hair, especially after lightening. We have a large variety of products available online or in-salon for purchase — please give us a call or email to chat about which products are best for you.
8. Is there parking at the salon?
Railway parade offers 10-hour street parking directly across the road from the salon. We recommend downloading the easy park app to save you from having to leave the salon during your appointment to update or check parking.
9. Can I come in for a consultation first?
We offer a complimentary consultation in salon which you can book through our booking system. Consultations are highly recommended if you are a first-time client, unsure of what service to book in for, or need a colour correction.
10. Do you offer hair extensions?
